Even though summer is not my favourite season, I do love Midsummer and all the celebrations that come with summers arrival. I am a bit sad that I’m so far from the big weekend-long party the Scandinavian Center in Burnaby. If you are in the area, I highly suggest you go check it out. Friday night will be the big party, and first thing Saturday morning they raise the May Pole, a tradition never to be missed. Saturday night ABRA Cadabra will be rocking out ABBA’s greatest hits! And all they tasty treats…. sigh, why did I move away again? Next year I am hoping to be in Finland for the big party, I am already planning.
